Ask a GP provides access to New Zealand GPs for quick answers to medical questions.

Simply type your question, attach any supporting documents and click submit. Your question will be assigned to one of our team of GP’s who will conduct research and reply with a detailed response. Our Clinicians will also help you to identify if any of our other services can help you to manage your medical condition.

The service is available 24 hours a day and your clinician will respond within 24 hours.

Ask a GP supports your treating doctor, it does not aim to replace them. If you require prescriptions or referrals you will need to visit your treating doctor.

Who can use this service?

All Accuro members with a hospital and surgical plan have access to this service at no additional cost.

How does it work?

Once you've completed the form one of our GP's will respond to your query. Your information remains private and confidential. Accuro will not see this report unless you choose to share it.

    Our GP will provide a detailed written response to your questions within 24 hours. This is general medical advice only.

    If appropriate, the GP will recommend you to other medical services that we provide.
